ArenaFest is an initiative from ArenaWorks Entertainment Inc.
ArenaFest is the first live social network event ever. ArenaFest facilitates the opportunity for indie bands to be discovered by merging a strong virtual presence with “Live-on-stage” performances at some of the largest most prestigious arenas in America. ArenaFest is a place to meet friends, make new friends. ArenaFest is a place to show your skills in live competitions on some of today’s most popular video games. ArenaFest is a place where fans use technology to participate in the outcome of professional sporting events, interact with live bands all while sharing with their online communities. At each ArenaFest Event there will be three music performances; one headlining band and two opening slots. Only artists registered on SellaBand.com will be have the opportunity to fill these opening slots.

In the coming weeks and months more details will become available with regards to ArenaFest. Headlining bands, sports action and other aspects of this unique and exciting initiative will be announced. The opening night of ArenaFest 2009 is currently scheduled for June 10, 2009.
